This week was my youngest brothers birthday and as I have been very busy with work and then having caught the bug that has been going around, I needed a quick, simple & manly card. This card fits the bill to a tee. I believe that it took longer to choose the colors than it did to make it.
I chose More Mustard, Lucky Limeade & Island Indigo with a whisper white base. Not your usual colors but they do work well with each other. By using the postage square punch, I was able to let more of the under layers show through. I also chose the Pretty Postage Stamp set as the Happy birthday image is a perfect fit for the occasion and the squares. To finish I added a few glimmer brads & a label for an added sentiment, from the Happiest Birthday Wishes Hostess Set. Inside I used a quote from the Hostess set Occasional Quotes (retired).
This card was simple & easy.
